WARNING!
Check for leakage to avoid the risk of fire or
explosion.
• Check for leakage before using the
product for the first time and every time
a gas cylinder is connected.
• Keep sparks, naked flames or other
sources of heat at a safe distance when
doing a leakage test, and do not smoke.
• Carry out leakage testing in a well
ventilated area.
• Never do a leakage test with matches, a
cigarette lighter or any other form of
naked flame.
• Never use a gas product before it is
leakage tested and any leaks have been
rectified. Contact the gas supplier for
help with leaks that you cannot fix
yourself.
LEAKAGE TESTING
IMPORTANT:
Carry out leakage testing in a well ventilated
area.
1. Mix a solution of 1 part of washing-up
liquid and 3 parts of water in a suitable
spray bottle.
2. Check that the burner knob is closed.
3. Spray the soapy water on the regulator
connection. Any leaks will show up as
bubbles at the leakage points.
4. The connection is tight if there are no
bubbles.
5. If there are bubbles or a smell of gas – go
to step 7.
6. Disconnect the gas cylinder and then
reconnect it.
7. Do not under any circumstances operate
or use electric circuits or appliances. Check
that the connection is correctly fitted and
tightened.
8. Check for leakage again with soapy water.
9. If there are still bubbles, repeat the test
procedure with another gas cylinder.
10. If the leakage persists, close the cylinder
valve and consult your gas supplier or the
retailer.
REGULATOR AND HOSE
Only use regulators and hoses approved for
gas at the above pressure (see page 4). The
regulator has an expected life span of 10 years.
It is recommended to change the regulator
within 10 years of the date of manufacture.
It can be dangerous to use an unsuitable
regulator and/or hose. Always check that a

The hose must not be twisted or bent when it
is connected to the gas cylinder. No part of the
hose must touch any part of the product. Place
the gas cylinder as far to the left of the product
as permitted by the hose.
LIGHTING
WARNING!
• Never attempt to light the burner with
