Use
• Do not run the engine in confined spaces where noxious carbon dioxide can
accumulate.
• Only use the machine in daylight, or in good artificial lighting.
• If possible, avoid using the lawn mower when the grass is wet.
• Make sure you always have a good footing on sloping ground.
• Use the machine carefully. Never run with the machine.
• Mow across slopes, never up or down.
• Be very careful when changing direction on slopes.
• Do not mow very steep slopes.
• Be very careful when going backwards or pulling the machine towards you.
• Stop the blades if the machine has to be tilted when moving it over an
ungrassed surface, or when moving to and from the area to be mowed.
• Never use the machine if the guards or covers are dismantled or damaged.
Never use the machine without the safety devices fitted, e.g. ejector guide
and/or catcher.
• Do not change the speed governor setting and do not over rev the engine.
• Disengage and put all the controls in neutral mode before starting the engine.
• Starting the engine according to the instructions. Keep your feet away from the
blades.
• Do not tilt the machine when starting the engine.
• Do not stand in front of the ejector opening when starting the engine.
• Keep your hands and feet away from moving parts. Always keep at a safe
distance from the ejector opening.
• Never lift or carry the machine when the engine is running.
• Switch off the engine, release the spark plug lead from the spark plug, remove
the ignition key where appropriate, and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped.
• Before clearing blockages or cleaning the ejector.
• Before checking, cleaning or doing any other work on the machine.
• If you run into an object. Check the machine and repair any damage before
using it again.
• If the lawn mower starts vibrating abnormally (check immediately).
