SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
Check to make sure the radiator’s rated voltage corresponds with the mains voltage.
The radiator may only be connected to an earthed mains supply.
Do not hide the power cord under a carpet etc. Place the power cord where there is no risk of
tripping over it.
The radiator must not be connected to a timer or thermostat. If the radiator is turned on
automatically and happens to be covered by a blanket or similar or is close to flammable objects,
there is a risk of overheating and fire.
The radiator must not be positioned directly beside or immediately below a mains outlet. Leave a
free area of 90 cm in all directions around the radiator.
The radiator may remain hot for a while after it has been turned off. Allow it to cool completely
before putting it away.
The radiator is not intended for use by people (including children) with various disabilities, or by
people who have no knowledge of how the radiator is used, unless they are supervised or receive
instructions concerning its use by someone responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the radiator.
Make sure that all packaging material is discarded after unpacking. Risk of suffocation if children
get hold of plastic packaging materials.
Do not use the radiator in damp or wet areas.
The radiator must not be rinsed off or immersed in water.
If the radiator should fall into water for some reason, the plug must be disconnected from the wall
socket before lifting the radiator out of the water.
If the radiator has been in contact with water, it must not be used until it has first been inspected by
an authorised service centre.
Do not use the radiator if the power cord or plug is damaged in any way. For safety reasons, the
power cord must only be replaced or repaired by an authorised service centre. Consult your dealer.
The radiator must not be used if:

the radiator’s casing or cable is damaged.
-
if a malfunction occurs after the radiator has tipped over or been dropped.

if the radiator is not working as it should.
In these cases, make sure that the plug is disconnected from the wall socket. Contact an
authorised service centre.
Do not touch the plug if you have damp or wet hands.
Do not move the radiator by pulling or lifting it with the power cord.
Do not position the power cord over sharp edges. Do not bend the power cord.
The power cord must not be wrapped around the radiator when the radiator is connected to the
mains voltage.
Use a residual current device.
Do not place the radiator on or close to hot items. Position the power cord so that it does not come
into contact with the radiator’s hot parts.
The radiator is not intended for outdoor use.
Only use the radiator in the intended manner.
The radiator is intended solely for use in private homes.
Repair work on the radiator must only be performed by an authorised service centre.
The radiator must not be opened to fill with oil or to drain the oil.
Incorrect use of the radiator or failure to follow the safety instructions will void the warranty. You
must be able to present a receipt when making warranty claims.
