Operation
1.
Place the wood in the feed carriage.
2.
Press the green button to switch on the machine. Wait until the blade reaches full speed.
3.
Hold the handle on the carriage with both hands and move it towards the blade. When the carriage
is moved towards the blade, the saw blade cover opens. Do not apply so much pressure to the
feed carriage that the motor speed falls.
4.
After the cut has been completed return the carriage completely to its initial position.
5.
Remove the sawn wood from the carriage.
6.
Press the red button “O” to turn the saw off.
IMPORTANT!
Never switch on the machine again until the blade has stopped moving.
NOTE!
If the wood is too thick to be sawn completely in a single cut, turn it over after the first cut. To do this,
return the feed carriage to its initial position, turn the wood along the cut and saw through it again.
IMPORTANT!
If the blade has not stopped after maximum 10 seconds, ask an authorised electrician to inspect
the switch and replace it if necessary.
Unplug the power cord immediately after finishing work. Never leave the machine until you have
unplugged it and secured it to prevent unauthorised use.
Changing the blade
IMPORTANT!
Unplug the power cord.
Let the blade cool before you change it.
Do not use inflammable liquids to clean the blade.
Always wear protective gloves when handling saw blades.
Risk of injury.
1.
Undo the flange screw by turning it anti-clockwise.
2.
Take the flange screw and the outer flange off the saw shaft.
3.
Remove the blade from the saw shaft.
4.
Clean the blade, the inner and outer flange and flange screw carefully before assembly.
5.
Fit the new blade by following the above instructions in reverse order and tighten the flange screw.
Transport
The wheels on the machine make it possible for one person to transport it.
Fit the transport handle before moving the machine.
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT!
Unplug the power cord.
Remove dirt regularly from the machine using a brush or cloth. Check the blade regularly for signs
of wear. If it has not been used for a longer period of time, apply a thin coating of oil to the blade,
return spring and the bearing for the feed carriage.
Blunt blades must be sharpened. Clean resin and sap off blades.
Regularly check that all screw connections are tight.
Always keep the handles dry and free from resin, sap, oil and grease. Never use caustic cleaning
products to clean the saw.
Cover the saw with a tarpaulin if it is left unprotected or outdoors. It is very important to protect the
motor and switch from water.
IMPORTANT!
Electrical tools must only be repaired by an authorised electrician.
