Maintain the machine in good order.

Keep the handles clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
Pull out the power cord
Always unplug the power cord when the tool is not being used, and before carrying out service
work or changing accessories, such as blades, bits or discs.
Remove adjuster keys/spanners and other assembling tools
Always check that adjuster keys/spanners and other assembling tools have been removed before
starting the tool.
Avoid accidental starting
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the power cord.
Extension cords
If using the machine outdoors, only use an extension cord approved for outdoor use.
Pay attention to what you are doing
Remember to use all necessary safety precautions and common sense. Never use power tools if
you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
Check for damaged parts
Before using the power tool, make sure it is not damaged and that it operates correctly and in the
intended manner.
Make sure that moving parts are properly adjusted and do not jam and that no parts are incorrectly
fitted or damaged. Check for other factors that could affect the operation of the power tool.
Guards or other parts that are damaged must be repaired or replaced by an authorised service
centre, unless otherwise specified in these instructions.
If the power switch does not work, it must be replaced by an authorised service centre.
Do not use the tool if it cannot be switched on and off using the power switch.

Keep your hands away from the cutting area when the tool is in use.
The blade will continue to rotate after the tool has been turned off.
Never try to stop the blade by pressing against the side of the blade.
Before use, check that all safety equipment is in place and working properly. Do not use the tool if
the blade guard is not protecting the blade correctly.
Never lock the blade guard in the raised position.
Never use blades that are warped, deformed or damaged in some other way.
Keep blades clean and sharp.
Do not carry out any adjustments while the tool is switched on.
Turn off the tool and disconnect the power cord before performing adjustments or altering settings.
Replace the table insert if it is worn.
Do not use for sawing materials other than wood and similar materials.
Only use blades that are recommended by the manufacturer and that satisfy the requirements in
EN 847-1.
Remove any nails, screws and other metal objects from the workpiece before sawing.
