4. Replacement procedure of fabric trimmer and fixed knife
(1) Remove setscrew and remove the old fabric trimmer .
(2) Press arrow mark plane

of new fabric trimmer to the machined
plane of knife holder , and tighten it with setscrew .
(3) When replacing fixed knife , loosen setscrew , and remove the
fixed knife in the lower direction.
(4) Insert the new fixed knife from the lower direction and fix it.
(5) At this time, fix the fixed knife with setscrew after confirming
regarding the height of fixed knife that the upper surface is flush
with the throat plate or slightly lower than the throat plate.
(6) When knife holder is removed, perform the adjustment of
engagement again.
5. Adjustment procedure of cloth guide
(1) Adjust the position of cloth guide in accordance with the kinds
and thickness of the fabric so that the fabric trimmer can cut the
material end at a fixed width.
(2) Loosen setscrew , and move the cloth guide to the right and
left to adjust the position.
