6-9. How to use the F key
Use F key after registering the parameter you frequently use to it.
The registered parameter can be selected only by pressing F key under the input mode.
1) Set the mode to the input mode
Under the input mode where SET READY LED
goes out, parameter registration is enabled.
If the current mode is the sewing mode, press
READY key

to change over the
mode to the input mode.
2) Calling the F key setting screen
When you keep F key held pressed, the
F key setting screen A is displayed.

3) Select parameter
Item B which can be registered to the key is displayed. Press ITEM SELECT key ❻ to select the
item to be registered.
The items that can be registered are; direct-pattern item data and memory switch 1 item.
4) Start register.
When READY key
❷
is pressed, registration starts, and the screen returns to the mode screen.
When RETURN key ❾ is pressed, the screen returns to the previous screen without performing
registration.
(2) State of registration at the time of purchase
"[S006] Sewing speed" is registered to the F key at the time of purchase.
