1. Apply appropriate grease to the feed adjust shaft

and the feed

adjust shaft

. Then, make a temporary joint.

2. In the state of temporary joint, enter the part to the inner part of

arm’s feed dial section.

3. Tighten the feed control base

with two feed control base screws

4. Apply the tip of minus-screwdriver to the split section of the feed

adjust screw

and turn it lightly to the right. Stop turning when the

screw does not move any more.

(Cautions) 1. For the above-mentioned turning, apply the tip of

minus-screwdriver assuredly to the split section of

the feed adjust screw

2. The feed adjust screw

should be turned until it

stops turning lightly.

Forced turning may destroy the tip of the split

section.

5. Enter the feed dial pin spring

and the feed dial pin spring pin

in the arm.

6. Enter the feed dial washer

and the feed dial spring

in the feed

dial

7. In the state that the feed dial graduation 0 coincides with the engraved

marker dot of the arm, join the feed dial screw

with the feed

adjust screw

(Cautions) After joining, confirm that the engraved marker dot of

the arm coincides with the feed dial graduation 0.

o In the state that the screw does

not move any more, the Feed 0

position is secured. At that time,

the feed adjuster

and the feed

adjust shaft

are fixed in the

state of no rattling.

o If there is any displacement

between the arm’s engraved

marker dot and the feed dial

graduation, there is no coincidence

between the dial graduation value

and the pitch.
