A fault is indicated by the red control lamp lighting up.
Deleting the fault indication: Pull the power supply unit out of the socket and after about 5
seconds plug it in again..

Cause of fault
Signal transmit-

DIP switch was
incorrectly set.
Correct the settings of the DIP switch! (see Chapter
Setting the backwashing interval and Potential-free
input)
•
Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
•
Inform the installer or the closest customer ser-
vice point.
•
If water escapes, close shut-off valves.
The red "Fault"
indicator light
flashes; the sig-
nal transmitter
sounds a horn.
Electrical or
mechanical
defect.
•
Delete fault indication!
•
Restart backwashing by manual triggering.
If the fault occurs again:
•
Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
•
Inform the installer or the closest customer ser-
vice point.
•
If water escapes, close shut-off valves.
All three LED
flash.
Maintenance
required.

Backwash
valve is not fully
closed.
Backwash water
continues run-
ning.
Dirt in backwash
valve.
Water flow
decreases.
Sieve clogged.
Restart backwashing by manual triggering.
If the backwash water runs on:
•
Inform the installer or the closest customer ser-
vice point.
There are leaks
in the filter bowl.
Damaged seals.
Filter bowl
becomes
clouded.
Hairline cracks
on the filter
bowl.
Filter bowl was
exposed to high
temperatures or
solvents.
•
Pull the power supply unit out of the socket.
•
Inform the installer or the closest customer ser-
vice point.
•
If water escapes, close shut-off valves. Have the
filter bowl replaced immediately.
