The device may only be used for the purposes for which it was designed: as a hot air device with ac-
cessories. The manufacturer is not liable for damages to objects or personal injuries that are caused
by improper, incorrect or reckless use.

Some basic rules must be followed in using the device.

These are especially the following:

■

The device may never be submerged in water. This is potentially fatally dangerous!

■

Never use the device while barefoot.

■

Never use extension cords without a test mark (IMQ-VDE- etc.)

■

Never pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the cord or from the device itself.

■

Do not clean electronic devices with steam, since this can lead to malfunctions and short circuits.

This can also be fatally dangerous!

■

Children or persons who have not been instructed should never start the device. .

■

Do not aim the steam jet at persons, animals or plants.

■

Never leave the device plugged in an unobserved.

■

Do not use the device under extreme weather conditions (long exposure to direct sunlight, frost)

■

Do not tip the device or set it at an angle

■

Do not feed the power cable against sharp edges or clamp it

■

Protect the power cable from heat, steam and oil

■

Check the device’s power cord for damage prior to every use

■

Do not let the water overflow when filling it

■

Let the device cool off before storing it

If the device is damaged take it out of service IMMEDIATELY.

Please contact the nearest service

office. Repairs to the device may only be carried out by qualified technicians.

The steam and accessories will reach very high temperatures during operation.
For that reason, the steam jet and base of the iron may not be touched during operation!

Always disconnect the electrical current to the device in the following situations.

Before cleaning and maintaining the device

■

If leaks are detected

■

For longer or unpredicted interruptions in work
