III.
HOW TO USE
a) Stop
When you receive the LoRa© Spy, it is stopped. It can neither transmit nor receive.
b) Turn-on
When you turned on the LoRa© Spy by pressing 3 seconds on the touch button, it tries to connect to the
Objenious Public Network (join request). If it receives an answer (join accept), then it measures and transmits
its measurements via Objenious Network. And Status LED flashes regularly according to its status. If there is no
answer from the Network, it will try to send another join request after a few seconds.
When the LoRa© Spy is connected to a LoRa gateway, it sends a presence message immediately (about a few
seconds). Then it measures the temperature and sends a message every 30 seconds. The LoRa© Spy send
Unconfirmed uplink by default, a short press on the touch button will enforce a measurement and toogle
between Confirmed and Unconfirmed uplink.
c) Turn-off
Every time you turn it off, the LoRa© Spy will reconnect to the Objenious Public Network (another join request)
at the next turn-on.

e) Entrance of test mode
When the LoRa© Spy is turned on, you can send 0x01010101 on 224 Port form your gateway (downlink) to
activate Test Mode.
