Sensitivity regulation
Sensitivity operates by rotating the "S" button clockwise or anti-clockwise. Full turn anti-
clockwise offers the least amount of sensitivity for use in windy conditions, increased undertow or
moving water. Full turn clockwise offers the most sensitivity for shy biting fish and fishing with
slack lines.
Beep volume regulation:
You can regulate the volume by rotating the “V” button in the traditional way. On the right side,
You have the highest beep intensity and you can switch the sound totally off by rotating it to
the left side completely. You can use this possibility e.g.
If your receiver is connected, or if your angling at night and you wish not to disturb other anglers.
Beep tone regulation:
Beep tone can be adjusted by the “T” button. The deepest tone is on the left side; by rotating to
the right side, you can adjust the highest tone so it is clearly audible even at distance.
Our TIP: Display of control elements position to adjust the sensitivity and beep height by a LED
column; If the device is switched-on, push the ON-OFF button very shortly (not to switch-off the
indicator). Then, if you rotate the “S” or “T” button a little bit, you can see the actual position on
the LED column, when a corresponding LED lights up. The higher LED, the higher sensitivity, or-in
case of beep tone adjustment – the higher beep. You can switch off this function by a short
pushing the ON-OFF button again, or it will switch off automatically.
Changing the brightness of LEDs:
You might want to adjust to various conditions and different situations. Therefore, it is a big
advantage to be able to change the brightness of the LEDs. This is done easily by pressing the LED
lower button on the bottom right (next to the screw thread) The brightness of the LEDs can be set in 5
different levels.
Changing the color of LEDs:
The Radar XTX alarm enables the angler to change the color of any LED to his or her own
preference.
There is a range of 6 colors:
Red, orange, green, blue, purple, aqua
. Changing the
color is done by
holding the ON-OFF button while pressing the lower button “LED”
simultaneously.
Stealth Mode or MUTE function:
You can switch off all sound in a quick and easy manner. This comes in very handy when setting
up your rods and you don’t want all the alarms to go off. You switch on this function by pushing
the
ON-OFF button for a very short time – two LEDs flashing in a rotating manner indicate that
the function is activated. The stealth mode automatically switches off after approx. 60 seconds,
or you just turn it off by pushing the ON-OFF button again.
Night light function:
At night, you can switch on the positioning LED. Push the ON-OFF button and hold it for approx. 5
seconds. You can hear a triple sound indication and the upper LED lights will be illuminated. Upon
indicator switching-off. This function is cancelled again.
Warning: The technology of blue LED production does not guarantee equal LED lighting whilst
using
this function. The intensity differences on the blue position LED’s on different indicators are
not a
failure and they are not a reason for any claim.
