Sound indication
The movement of the fishing line is accompanied by an acoustic signal with the possibility
to adjust the tone of the sound.
Increased forward motion of the fishing line is indicated by a warble tone that warns the angler
about a stronger bite.
Visual indication
The multi-color RGB LED’s are placed behind the transparent acrylic sheet (plexi-glass) and
provide a clearly arranged visual display.
Indication is designed using the unique smart travelling LED indication. The lights go on from
bottom to top when line is takes from the reel. They travel from top to bottom to indicate the line
is going in the opposite direction (dropback bite)
After the movement has been detected, the LED’s latching memory function is activated so that
the angler can see which rod the take was on. During the 20 second period the fisherman can
also see in which direction the line has moved. If the fishing line has moved forward two LED’s in
the upper part of the display indication light up. Upon the backward motion (dropback) the
LED’s in the bottom part remains illuminated.
Basic Functions Operation
Switching ON/OFF
You can switch the indicator on and off by pushing the button on the bottom left for
approximately 1 sec (Hereinafter, the button is referred to as ON-OFF). After switching on, a
double high beep sounds, when switching off, you can hear a longer deep beep. Moreover, if
you switch on the indicator the LED’s travel from the bottom upwards.
