Before using the hair straightener for the first time, switch it on for a
few minutes and set it to the highest temperature. As a result of the
manufacturing process, you may notice a slight odour. This is normal
and only occurs during first use. Ensure that the room is well ventilated.
BEFORE STRAIGHTENING
The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products (except special
products that promote hair straightening).
Thoroughly comb the hair so that there are no knots in it.
Separate your hair into horizontal sections. Each section should be
around the width and thickness of the heating plate
Pin or clip the sections you are not working on out of the way.
SWITCHING ON/OFF AND SELECTING A TEMPERATURE
Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket.
Press and hold the on/off button to switch on the hair
straightener. The indicator lights flash until the hair
straightener has reached the temperature.
To select another operating temperature, press the on/
off button repeatedly to cycle through the temperature
settings and select a desired one.
The temperature settings are: 130 °C, 150 °C, 170 °C, 190
°C and 210 °C.
Once a new temperature setting is selected, the indicator lights on the
product flash until the hair straightener has reached the newly selected
operating temperature.
Below are recommended settings. If you are unsure, start with a lower
temperature and increase the temperature as necessary.
