6.3 REPLACING TENSION WHEEL
If the tension wheel spins before the re-
quired strap tension is reached, the wheel
must be replaced.
Removal
– Use plastic strap (Fig. 10/1) that fits the rocker lever
in its upper position and remove the two rear strap
guides (10/4 and 10/5).
– Remove retaining ring and spacer washer (10/2).
– Remove the shaft together with the tensioning
lever.
– Remove tension wheel (10/6) and replace it.
Installation
– Install the parts in reverse order.
Before assembling clean the toothed plate
(10/3) . If the edges are defective replace it.
6.4 ADJUSTMENT OF STRAP WIDTH
The four strap guides (Fig. 11/1–11/4) can be turned
and used for two different strap widths, 16 mm (5/8")
and 19 mm (3/4").
There is also a set available for 13 mm (1/2") and
16 mm (5/8") straps.
