Warranty Terms

The warranty starts from the date of 

the first Start up 

of the product and comes into effect only at the time when Jolly Mec receives the 

Warranty Certificate

Start up service must be done exclusively by an authorised Jolly Mec Technical Assistance Centre. The First Start up must take place within 60 days of the product purchase date; if
the First Start up does not take place in the abovementioned terms, the validity of the warranty is automatically invalidated.
The 

Warranty Certificate

must be sent to Jolly Mec, duly completed in the appropriate spaces, no later than 30 days from the date of the first product Start up.

In order to be entitled to service provisions and to replacement of spare parts under warranty, it is essential to attach a copy of the purchase document to the 

Warranty Certificate

;

when requesting work, the relevant purchase document, giving details of the retailer, the date of purchase, the amount paid and the description of the product, must be submitted.
If the customer requests work other than what is set out in these 

Warranty Terms

, he/she must pay the fee specified in the current price list on that date. The warranty is not trans-

ferable to third-parties and remains a personal warranty to the first purchaser.
Warranty period of the boiler body of the air pellet stoves (Techna,Classe,Arte and Arte Acciaio) and for pellet cassette fireplaces (Jolly Star and Jolly Synthesis) is for 2 years,
whereas for water pellet stoves (Techna,Classe,Arte and Arte Acciaio) is for 3 years.
The warranty period for the individual mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic parts of the Jolly Mec products is 2 years.
The warranty period for individual parts subject to wear and tear, namely all those parts that cannot be maintained which, as they are used, wear out and/or can no longer be used
and which therefore need to be replaced after a certain period of operation, is limited to 4 months for cast-iron grids and 12 months for the heating element, fire base, trimmings
and pellet basket. The glass and the Fire Flector coverings are not covered by warranty.
Jolly Mec reserves the right to make changes in order to improve its products without prior notice. 
The applicable legislation, in the event of any dispute or protest, is Italian law; in the event of discrepancy between the terminology in Italian and the translation, the Italian interpre-
tation takes precedence. For any dispute, the law courts of Bergamo (Italy) have exclusive jurisdiction.

The warranty does not include:

1.

Masonry work.

2.

The electrical and electronic parts that break down due to a power supply with a voltage other than the nominal or with improper connections to the mains and/or the latter not
being according to standard and without protection from natural disasters.            

3.

The parts subject to wear/tear. 

4.

For fireplaces with water thermovector fluid and for domestic water production not supplied by Jolly Mec.

5.

Damage caused by electromagnetic fields or by blackout.

6.

Variations in colour due to contact with heat.

7.

For cladding, the visible defects that may be found on the wooden parts; cladding, in the event of misuse of the product or accidental breakages; some features  of marble (e.g.
veins) that do not change the characteristics of the product but that may differ from the veins and/or colour shades in the photos in Jolly Mec catalogues. 

8.

Not considered to be original defects are all faults and deformities related to wear and tear, poor maintenance, failure to clean the product and use of the product in a way not
in keeping with the Usage and Maintenance Manual provided with the product.

9.

Defects connected with installation.

10. No compensation whatsoever shall be paid for lack of use of the product due to repair times or its replacement.

This warranty is automatically invalidated as a result of:

1.

Tampering with the product.

2.

Use of the product in an improper way and not in compliance with the instructions contained in each pack and in particular the use of poor quality pellets, with the use of fuels
that are not recommended or not stated in the instructions or loads higher than those stated.

3. 

Alterations or operations not previously authorised.

4. 

Use of spare parts that are not original or not specific to the model.

5. 

Damage caused by transport not under Jolly Mec's responsibility.

6. 

Installation of products unduly carried out, in a way not in accordance with current regulations and with the instructions contained in the pack.

7.

Failure to perform the cleaning and maintenance work stated in the manual accompanying the product.
