Remove the appliance parts from the
package and dispose of the packaging
components according to the law. Check
that the product is intact and that all
components are present. In the event of
obvious anomalies or transport damage,
do not use the appliance, but contact the
retailer or an authorized service center.
FIRST USE
Before using the fryer for the first time,
thoroughly clean the basket (F), the bowl
(H) and the lid with window (A) with hot
water and dish detergent. The external
container (L) and the control unit (B) can
be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure
that no water has entered the control unit
(B) and that there are no residues in the
bottom of the tank (H). Thoroughly dry all
parts. Place the fryer on a horizontal, sta
ble, heatresistant surface and at least 1.5
meters from furniture, curtains or other
flammable material and with at least 2 me
ters of free space above it.
ASSEMBLY
Place the bowl (H) in the external contai
ner (L) (Fig. 4). Join the control unit (B) to
the external container (L) by inserting the
guides (M) in the grooves (N) from top to
bottom (Fig. 5).
FILLING THE OIL OR FAT
If oil is used, pour it into the tank (H) un
til it reaches the maximum level indicated
inside the tank itself. Never exceed this
limit, there is a risk of oil leaking from
the tank (H). The oil level must always be
between the minimum and maximum (Fig.
7)
Never mix two different types of oils or
fats.
If, on the other hand, loaves of fat are
used, cut them into small pieces and melt
them in another container and then care
fully pour the liquefied fat into the tank
(H).
Never melt the fat in the pan of the deep
fryer.
PUT IN ACTION
Position the fryer according to the instruc
tions described above.
Make sure that the thermostat knob is set
to “0”
Pour the oil into the tank (H) respecting
the “MIN” and “MAX” levels indicated insi
de the tank (H) (Fig. 6 7).
Insert the plug into an electrical socket
suitable for receiving it, and turn the tem
perature adjustment knob to the desired
temperature, the light (D) will light up (Fig.
8).
N.B .: for safety reasons the device turns
on only if correctly assembled and with
the control unit (B) inserted correctly in its
seat.
If the fryer does not start after having cor
rectly assembled all its parts, insert the re
set rod (P) in the “restart” hole (E), located
on the rear side of the control unit (B) and
exert a slight pressure (Fig. 9).
When the set temperature is reached, the
indicator light (D) turns off.
ATTENTION: even if the indicator light (D)
is off, the appliance always remains live.
Put the food to be fried in the basket (F)
(Fig. 10) and insert the latter slowly into
the tank (H) to avoid splashing or leaking
hot oil and cover with the lid with window
(A) (Fig. 11).
The oil must always cover all the foods
you are about to fry, and it is normal for
steam to come out.
