M9206-DNx Series Electric Spring Return

Economizer Damper Actuators

Installation

IMPORTANT:

Use this M9206-DNx Series

actuator only to control equipment under normal
operating conditions. Where failure or malfunction of
the damper actuator could lead to personal injury or
property damage to the controlled equipment or
other property, additional precautions must be
designed into the control system. Incorporate and
maintain other devices, such as

supervisory or alarm

systems or safety or limit controls, intended to warn
of or protect against failure or malfunction of the
damper actuator.

IMPORTANT :

Utiliser ce M9206-DNx Series

actuator uniquement pour commander des
équipements dans des conditions normales de
fonctionnement.

The M9206-DNx actuator is designed for use with the
Johnson Controls AD-DME100-0 Economizer
Controller.

Parts Included

The M9206-DNx actuator is included.

Special Tools Required

5/16 in. (8 mm) square socket or 3/8 in. (10 mm)
12-point socket

5/16 in. (8 mm) hex socket or nut driver

Setup and Adjustments

Spring Return Direction - Counterclockwise (CCW)
Operation

For CCW spring return operation, mount the actuator
to the damper shaft so the CCW face of the actuator
(Figure 1) is away from the damper. The coupler is at
the 0° position to drive Clockwise (CW) and spring
return CCW.

Spring Return Direction - Clockwise (CW)
Operation

To change the spring return direction to CW, mount
the actuator to the damper shaft so the CW face of the
actuator (Figure 2) is away from the damper. The
actuator now drives CCW from the 0° position.
