SAFETY DEVICES
This product has been supplied with break away safety clips attached to each cord on the reverse of
this blind. These components have been pre-installed and have been supplied to make this blind safe in
line with the new child safety regulations outlined in BS EN13120.
The break away safety clips that are attached to each panel and cord on the reverse of the blind will
break away from the front of the clip if any reasonable weight is placed on the cord on the back of the
blind. Our clips will break away leaving one side of the clip on the tape and the other on the cord.
They are easily re-attached if required.

Care instructions
To reduce velvet impressions during packaging the rods and bottom bar are delivered out of the
stitched lining pockets. Rods are easily re-inserted to the fabric channel.
Creasing
Due to the nature of Velvet products the fabric might need time to condition in the atmosphere
after unpacking; this will allow the pile to relax and lift and help any small wrinkles to fall out. A light
steam can also help to ease out wrinkles.
Use a steam iron lightly on the reverse of the blind, firstly un-clip and move strings away from the
area to be ironed. Move the iron in the direction of the pile, which on this blind is an upwards
movement. After steaming please ensure all clips and strings and re-positioned and the blind is hung
immediately. You can regularly dust the blinds with a feather duster or, if needed, use a vacuum
cleaner on low power.
