Ecological hints
To save water and energy and help protect
the environment, we recommend that you
follow these hints:
• Ensure that the water softener is correctly
adjusted.
• Do not prewash under running water.
• Select the wash programme to suit the
nature and degree of the soiling on the
dishes.
• Do not use more detergent, dishwasher
salt and rinse aid than is recommended in
these operating instructions and by the
manufacturer of the respective product.
• Delay start: When possible programme
your appliance to run over night, to
enable, for example, the use of
economical overnight electricity tariffs.
• 45°-70° Auto Wash Programme:
This appliance is fitted with a turbidity
sensor which intelligently adjusts the
temperature and rinsing cycles during the
wash programme, depending on the
degree of soiling on the dishes. This helps
to reduce energy and water consumption
on lightly soiled loads.
• Half load: This option is useful and
economical when baskets are not fully
loaded.
Environmental
information
The packaging materials are environmentally
friendly and can be recycled. The plastic
components are identified by markings, e.g.
>PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the
packaging materials in the appropriate
container at the community waste disposal
facilities.
When a unit is no longer being used:
• Pull the plug out of the socket.
• Cut off the cable and plug and
dispose of them.
• Dispose of the door catch. This
prevents children from trapping
themselves inside and endangering
their lives.
The symbol on the product or on its
packaging indicates that this product may
not be treated as household waste. Instead
it should be taken to the appropriate
collection point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment. By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you will
help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and
human health, which could otherwise be
caused by inappropriate waste handling of
this product. For more detailed information

contact your local council, your household
waste disposal service or the shop where
you purchased the product.
