Before carrying out any maintenance or
cleaning isolate the cooker hood from the
mains supply.
C harcoal F ilters
In the recirculation mode the charcoal f ilters absorb
smells and un w anted odours .
T he charcoal f ilters cannot be cleaned , w e recommend
the y should be re p laced a pp ro x imatel y e v er y three
months or more o f ten i f the hood is used f or more
than three hours p er da y.
T o R emo v e /R e p lace the C har-
coal F ilters
1. F irst remo v e the metal g rease f ilters .
2. R emo v e the saturated acti v ated charcoal f ilter b y releasin g
the f i x in g hooks as illustrated .
3 . P osition the ne w charcoal f ilter in the p osition marked
and w hile holdin g the f ilter re p lace the f i x in g hooks as
illustrated
This appliance can be a possible fire hazard if
the grease and charcoal filters are not cleaned
and replaced as recommended.
C han g in g the Li g ht Bulb
1. R emo v e the scre w f astenin g the lam p co v er .
2. P ull the lam p co v er do w n w ards .
3 . R otate the li g ht bulb anti-clock w ise to unscre w.
4 . T o re p lace the li g ht bulb insert a re p lacement into the
holder then rotate the bulb clock w ise into p osition . E nsure
y ou take care not to o v erti g hten the bulb .
5. R e p lace the lam p co v er .
I f the li g ht bulb f ails to f unction check that the bulb is f ull y
scre w ed into the holder . I f bulb f ailure has occurred then
it should be re p laced w ith a 22 0- 2 40 V olt 40 W clear g lobe
sha p ed bulb w ith a small E1 4 scre w thread .
Replacement filters and light bulbs can be ob-
tained from your local Service Force Centre.
