U sin g the cooker hood
T he cooker hood is desi g ned to e x tract un p leasant
odours f rom the kitchen , it w ill not e x tract steam .
T he a pp liance can be installed to recirculate or e x tract
contaminated air .

R ecirculation
In the recirculation mode the contaminated air enters
the cooker hood throu
g h the g rease f ilters . T he air is
cleaned b y p assin g throu g h the charcoal f ilters be f ore
bein g p assed back into the kitchen throu g h the g rilles in
either side o f the chimne y stack .
Ex traction
In the e x traction mode the contaminated air enters the
cooker hood p assin g throu g h the g rease f ilters and is
p assed out throu g h the ductin g into the atmos p here .
T o obtain the best p er f ormance w hen cookin g it is ad v is-
able to s w itch the cooker hood on f or a f e w minutes
be f ore y ou start cookin g and lea v e it runnin g f or about
15 minutes a f ter f inishin g.
When used in the ducting mode the charcoal
filters are not required.
Never do flambé cooking under this cooker
hood.
Never leave frying pans unattended during
use, as over-heated fats and oils can catch fire.
Do not leave naked flames under the cooker
hood.
Ensure heating areas on your hob are covered
with pots and pans when using the hob and
cooker hood simultaneously.
