Operation
Controls
The controls are (top to bottom):
Power . Press the button to switch
the cooker hood on or off.
Fan speed
. To select a speed
setting press the button:
once for speed 1
twice for speed 2
three times for speed 3
Alternatively, when the cooker hood is
switched on press and hold the button for
5 seconds to activate intensive speed. The
intensive speed setting will operate for 10
minutes or until you press the fan speed
button or the power button.
Note:
For regular cooking, we recommend using fan setting 1
or 2. If you are frying or cooking other dishes which generate
a large amount of smoke or steam, we recommend using fan
setting 3 or intensive speed.
Light . Press this button to operate the LED lights.
Timer
. Press this button to set a 15 minute
timer. The cooker hood will operate at the currently
selected speed (speed setting 1-3 only, not intensive
speed) for 15 minutes and then switch off. This is
useful for clearing cooking fumes and odour.
Press and hold the timer button for 4 seconds to
switch the LED lights on or off.
Indicators
The indicators are (top to bottom):
Filters . If this indicator is:
Lit. The anti-grease fi lters have been used for a
minimum of 30 hours and should be washed.
Flashing. The anti-grease fi lters have been used
for a minimum of 120 hours and should be
washed.
To reset the fi lters indicator, when the cooker hood
is switched off press and hold the fan speed button
for 5 seconds. The fi lters indicator will go out and the
internal timer will reset for another 30/120 hours.
Note: We recommend that you wash fi lters every 2-3
months. See page 8 for more information on cleaning fi lters.
Clean Air
. When the cooker hood is switched off
press and hold the fan speed button for 5 seconds to
activate the clean air function. The cooker hood will
operate automatically at speed 1 for 10 minutes
every hour. This indicator will fl ash when the fan is off
and be lit when the fan is on.
Timer
. This indicator is lit when the timer is
switched on.
Lights . This indicator is lit when the lights are
switched on.
