5. Screw the clamp nut (2) onto the
spindle with the flat side of nut facing
up. Fit the raised small diameter
portion of the clamp nut into the hole
in the grinding disc. Tighten to finger
tight only.
6. Depress the spindle lock button and
rotate the grinding disc clockwise until
the spindle locks.
7. Securely tighten the clamp nut with
the wrench provided.
POSITIONING THE GUARD
WARNING:
Guard must be
positioned correctly to protect the
operator. Rotate the guard to the
correct position as noted in Fig. 6 or 7
at right. Guard placement depends
upon where your hand is positioned on
the handle.
