Route the remaining wires through the last Grommet.

Pictured is the Amplifier Cover Panel and associated
hardware. Adjust the settings of the HD900/5 Amplifier as
illustrated on
Pages 2-3
. Secure the Amplifier to the panel
using four 8 - 32 x 5/8” Screws and four #8 Lock Washers.
Premium System Only:
Secure the CL-SSI to the panel using four 8 - 32 x 3/8” Screws,
four #8 Flat Washers, and four #8 Lock Washers.

Connect the Ground Wire to the factory grounding lug as
shown. Route the wire through one of the Grommets and
cover it with 1/2” Loom.

Premium System Only:
Connect the input plugs to the CL-SSI. The mid/tweeter
wires should be in Input A, and the woofer wires should be
in Input C.
Set both A and C Level Trims to the 12 o’clock position. Set
the Level switches to the Spkr position, the Mode switch to
the 2-Way position, and the Signal Sense switch to the Off
position.

Connect the Power Wire to the positive battery terminal with
the Fuse Holder about 8” away from the battery. Route the
Power Wire through one of the Grommets and cover it with
1/2” Loom as shown.
Do not install the fuse at this time.

Premium System Only:
Cut the mid/tweeter and woofer wires a few inches from the
amplifier plug. Connect the plug side of the wires to a pair of
CL-SSI input plugs, and connect 16 Gauge Speaker Cable to
the wire side. Reinstall the factory amplifier.

Drill three 9/16” holes in the second firewall on the passenger
side. Snap a Grommet into each hole as shown.

Remove the factory amplifier cover panel. For the
Premium
System
, remove the factory amplifier mounting screws, and
unplug and remove the amp.
Route all cables to this location, and cover with 1” loom as
necessary.
