This appliance can receive AM, SW (SW, SW2), or FM frequency radio.
• Switch fUnCTIOn (5) to raDIO. The display (6) shows
(53).
• Switch banD (8) to the desired frequency band (Mw, Sw1, Sw2, fM).
• Tune into the desired station with TUnIng (25).
• With the FM frequency band the fM ST (47) indicator lights up if a radio station with a stereo signal is received.
• Adjust the position of the wire antenna (45) for FM reception or the appliance for SW and AM reception.

Cleaning the appliance
• Use a damp cloth and mild soap solution to clean the surface of the appliance.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleansers, benzines, solvents, or chemically treated cleaning cloths. These might damage the appliance.
notes for discs
• Do not touch the surface of a disc and do not stick labels on it.
• Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
• If the disc contains fingerprints or dust, wipe it carefully with a soft cloth starting from the centre. Do not use antistatic or other cleanser to clean
the disc.
Maintenance of the cassette deck
Clean the pinch wheel (a) and the audio head (C) approx. every 0 working hours or once a month.
• For cleaning, open the cassette deck (18, 32) with
(20, 27).
• Use a cotton bud moist with alcohol to clean the pinch wheel and the magnetic audio head
• Press (23, 30) to reach the audio head with the cotton bud.
• Press (19, 26) to make the pinch wheel (a) movable for cleaning..
• Clean the capstan (b).
• Carefully clean these parts with the cotton bud.
• Alternatively, you can use a cleaning cassette. Play it entirely.
note: Ensure not to damage any parts inside the cassette decks. Do not use screwdrivers or any other sharp objects.

Ensure that a disc is inserted.
Ensure the disc is inserted with the printed side up.
Do not insert a disc; leaving the appliance powered-off for an
hour before use.

Always direct the remote control towards the appliance.
Check if the batteries are correctly inserted (mind the
polarity).
