9 Service

9.1 Operating system

The OS is stored to the flash memory in the CPU. This memory cannot be ac-
cessed by the user. Important system files, such as firmware, images or EDS, are
protected.

Jetter AG are continuously striving to enhance the operating systems of their
products. Enhancing means adding new features, and upgrading existing func-
tions.

There are several ways of updating an operating system:

Via programming tool JetSym

■

Via MicroSD card
