Setting the sign option
MR 2816 defines whether or not the sign is displayed.
To set the display field length in MR 2812 correctly, include the sign's place into
the calculation, even if no sign is to be displayed.

Setting the number of decimal places
MR 2810 defines the number of decimal places.
Displaying decimal places might require adjustment of the display field length in
MR 2812.
The reason: The decimal point uses one place in the display field.
Setting the numerical value format
Numericals can be displayed in either decimal or hexadecimal format.
Flag 2060 sets the format of numerical values.
