11. Positioning the coals: 550, 700 & 850 Gas Convector
Warning
The fire must only be fitted with the ceramics supplied. Do not add any extra coals
or logs.

Position the front coal pieces as shown. The left hand front coal piece has a cut
on its rear edge to clear the pilot hole. Ensure that the pilot hole and flame
strip are not obstructed.

Position the back board centrally into the burner tray ensuring it is correctly
seated and that the flame strip is not obstructed.

Fit the left hand and right hand coal pieces either side of the back board into
the burner tray. They should be fully fitted into the burner tray and touch the
rear of the front coal pieces.
