- Clean the pot as good as you can. Then add some plant oil and rub it
carefully onto the pot (inside and out) as well as the lid.
If the Dutch oven has not been in use for a long time, if rust has formed or oil-
remainders have become rancid, you can easily prepare it for further use. First
of all, the rust needs to be removed. Then follow the steps as you have
executed them prior to first use of the Dutch Oven. Place the pot on a heat
source until it is lukewarm. Clean it with kitchen paper, then rub the entire pot
and lid with oil to leave a thin film. Pay special attention to the spots that have
formerly been rusty. Have fun with your Dutch Oven!

Oven. The Dutch Oven becomes very hot when in use! Retain this instruction
for future use. Never leave a fire unattended. Remove all decoration and
packaging elements prior to use. Place the fire on a suitable safe, level, heat
resistant surface away from furnishing, flammable materials, heat, and
draughts. Do not inflame the fire using alcohol or other flammable fluids.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Extinguish the fire if the flames should
get too high or create excessive some, cover the fire with a large fire blanket.
Do not blow out or use water to extinguish. Only for outdoor use!
