7.  To cancel the programmed selections, press the PROGRAM button and then the “STOP 

 

button until the “PROG “indicator disappears from LCD display. 

 

Important Notices: 

-  Always press the “STOP  ” button to stop CD playback and return the LCD to the original 

information before pressing the “OPEN/CLOSE 

” button for disc changing. 

-  Before opening the tray for either 

 or 

CD-2

, make sure the system is in the CD 

STOP

“ mode and you have deleted all programmed tracks. 

You must close the CD tray(s) (either

before switching to other function mode

PLAYING COMPACT DISCS IN CD-2 

Press the “CD 2” function button on the unit front panel to select 

CD-2 

mode, wait for the display to 

show the “CD 2” indicator. The basic operation of 

CD-2 

is same as

When No Disc is Loaded   

“No disc” message will be shown on display. 

 



Play/Pause Mode 

 

-  To temporarily stop playback, press the “PLAY/PAUSE 

” button once, the playing 

time will be stop on the LCD display. Press the “ PLAY/PAUSE 

” 

button once more 

to cancel pause and resume playback. 

 



Skip Mode (Skip Up 

/Skip Down 

)  

The system will go to the next or previous track only when you press the Skip button during 
PLAY or PAUSE mode. 

 



Random Play Mode (using the Remote Control) 

Press the RANDOM button at remote control to activate the shuffle play function and the 
random indicator “RAN“ will show on the LCD display. Press the “REPEAT” button once to 
cancel the random play function.   

 



CD Disc Programming (using the Remote Control) 

Up to 32 tracks can be programmed when using 

CD-2

 . 

After a programmed played, you can delete the programmed tracks in the order from the last 
one to the first one by pressing the “CLEAR “ button on the remote control. This function allows 
you to re-program the memory half way through if necessary. 

 



Display Information (using the Remote Control) 

-      During CD playback, press the DISPLAY button to toggle between elapse time or time 

remaining for the track being played. 

 



Repeat Play Mode   

Press the REPEAT button before or during playback, a single track or all the tracks can be played

Remarks: 

The CD burner reaction time is longer than a normal CD player. If you keep pressing buttons 
while the CD burner is operating, you might cause a malfunction of the system. Please re-start 
the unit if this is happen. 

-   The reading and playback time of some CD-R/RW discs vary from brand to brand.
