The bed cannot be adjusted
using the remote control
1. Check whether you are keeping the
remote control vertical, with the display
facing down.
1. Move the bed by turning the remote control
over so that the display is facing down.
2. Check whether a white lamp flashes
when you lower the joystick.
2. Replace the batteries. If that does not work,
contact your supplier.
3. Do you hear a peep when you try to
adjust the bed?
3. Either the safety sensors are blocked, or they
are out of position. Check the space between the
sensor and the reflector on both sides of the bed.
4. Do menus disappear from the screen
of the remote control when you hold it
vertically, with the screen facing down?
4. If not, contact your supplier to arrange delivery
of a remote control that does work.
5. Do white lamps flash briefly when
you move the joystick?
5. Check whether the USD card has been inserted
into the space under the flap. The first 500 remote
controls need a USD card to function.
6. Is the bed connected to the power
supply?
6. Insert the plug into the adapter and insert the
small, round DIN contact into the lead which comes
out of the head end of the bed.
7. Does a green lamp start flashing on
the control unit when you briefly press the
red button?
7. If the power has been connected and the
control unit does not light up when you press the
button, contact your supplier to have the control
unit replaced.
8. Has the remote control been activa-
ted on the bed?
8. Activate the remote control on the bed (see

9. Can you see a small, green lamp
flashing when you try to move the bed
but the bed fails to move?

remote control.
Open the battery flap and check whether
the USD card is in the right place.

It is difficult to remove the USD
card from the remote control.
Check whether a small piece of the USD
card is sticking out of the opening under
the battery flap.
Use a small knife or a small screwdriver to extract
the USD card far enough to get hold of it on both
sides. Some USD cards have a sticker on the rear
which hampers removal. You can carefully scratch
off this sticker to make it easier to insert the card in
the future.
I have added my own music to
the remote control but it is not
displayed in the menu.
Check whether the music files have the
’.wav’ extension.
Convert the files to the correct wave format and

The music I have added to the
remote control sounds distorted
or is played at the wrong speed.
