Work Area
To avoid risk of personal injury, equipment damage, fire and shock, make sure your work area is:
• Free of damp, wet or rainy conditions.
• Free of children (never let them handle tools or machinery).
• Well-lit.
• Clean and uncluttered.
The Operator
• Never operate this equipment if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Please read and refer to the operating instructions for the Bench Grinder and confirm compatibility with this stand
prior to mounting and use.
• Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in parts.
• Protective gloves and non-skid footwear are recommended.
• Maintain proper footing and balance at all times.
• Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
• Ensure that you use the appropriate eye and ear protection. Always wear suitably approved impact safety goggles.
• Use the right product for the job. Do not attempt to force a large tool or attachment to do the work of a smaller
industrial tool. There are certain applications for which this tool was designed.
• Do not modify this tool and do not use this tool for a purpose for which it was not intended.
Before Using

Ensure that the stand has been assembled correctly before use and that the griunding equipments is fully
operational and free from any defects
• Make sure all nuts and bolts fastenings and adjustable parts are tight and set correctly for the job at hand.
• Use only bench grinders that are fully compatible with the Bench Grinder Pedestal Stand.

This pedestal stand is designed to fit most Jefferson Bench Grinders, but you should always confirm before using.
•
This stand is not designed for use with any other hand or powertool.
