Towing/lifting the vehicle

A shop jack with asymmetric arms cannot be set to a position which
allows the adapters to engage the service lifting points on the
welded flange (1) at both rear and front kick plates of the vehicle.
For this reason, the second service lifting point on the front part of
the vehicle must be used. The front servicing lifting point is on the
front reaction elements.
If correctly positioned, the floor jack may be used to support the
lifted vehicle with the jack supports.
Floor jacks or lifting devices must never be used on any underbody
component, except for the described areas.
The “triangle” symbols on the body indicate the vehicle lifting points.
