CLEANING & MAINTENANCE 

DANGER 

Prior to conducting maintenance or cleaning: Unplug from the power source. 

 

Note:

 Clean unit immediately after every use. Remains of dried grass is very hard, and are very 

difficult to remove. 

 
BEFORE EACH USE

Check the power cable and connector for 
damage.

 

Conduct a visual inspection and have the 
cable replaced by an electrician if necessary.

Cleaning the device 

 

Wipe the unit with a damp

 

cloth. 

Replace the thread if it is too short. 

Replace the spool 

 

REPLACING THE THREAD SPOOL 
Removing the thread spool 

 

Press the locking mechanism in (15). 

 

Remove the cover (16). 

 

Pull out the cord spool. 

INSERTING THE THREAD SPOOL 

 

Feed both threads in the openings (17) of 
the spool housing. 

 

Press the thread spool into the spool 
housing. Pull the threads out through the 
openings. 

 

Mount cover (16) and allow to engage. 

 

 

 

STORAGE & TRANSPORTATION 

STORAGE 

Store the tool in a dry and well-ventilated place. 

TRANSPORTATION 

When dispatching, try to use the original packaging, if possible.

Nylon line doesn’t unwind

Replace the spool

Remove the cause of the 
blockage. 

If you can’t fix the fault yourself, contact your 

retailer. Please be aware that any improper repairs 

will also invalidate the warranty and additional costs may be incurred.
