circuit_type

One of the circuits the CT-650 can test:

DS1/FT1

Digit associated with a previously entered command. Type

command_name

Any valid CT-650 command.

data_bits

One of the communications data bit lengths:

A communications data rate in bps. Possible values are

dcs_command

A command issued to a DCS. For example,

Releases RTU resources from a DCS that is either properly con-
nected or improperly disconnected from the RTU.

The RTU is released regardless of the state of the DCS.

The RTU is only released when the DCS is properly con-

nected.

dial_sequence

Sequence issued by the CT-650 to simulate dialing a call.

digit_duration

Length of time during which a digit is activated, in milliseconds.
Applies to DTMF dialing and multi-frequency only.

digit_string

A string of up to 54 DTMF digits (

0–9

A–D

), or

to send a

user-defined tone. Applies to DTMF loopback only.

digroup_number

The digroup to be tested. The entered digroup or Access Identifier
(AID) becomes the selected side of the digroup being tested. The

digroup_side

is not used in the DS1 Direct mode. For informa-

tion on specifying digroup numbers for various DCSs and tests, see

Table 9 on page 187

digroup_side

One of the test sides. The available values depend on the circuit
and test. Possible values are as follows:
