Frame

The following fields appear in the Frame category of the DS3 test
results screens.

Ratio of frame errors to received framing bits since ini-
tially acquiring frame synchronization.

Ratio of frame errors to the total number of received
framing bits while DS3 frame synchronization is
present.

Sec

Number of seconds during which one or more frame
errors occurred since initial frame synchronization.

Frame % EFS

Ratio of error-free seconds, expressed as a percent-
age, during which no frame errors were detected to
the total number of seconds that DS3 frame synchro-
nization is present.

Frame Thr

Err Sec

Number of seconds during which the frame error rate
exceeded or equaled the defined threshold. To display
the threshold, use the command

Information

Configure Defaults DS3

FEOOF Sec

Number of seconds during which no X-bits are
received (Far End Out of Frame Seconds).

DS2 Frame

Err

Number of errors detected in the multiplexed frame
between DS1 to DS3.

NEOOF Sec

Number of seconds during which an out-of-frame con-
dition or an alarm indication signal is detected (Near-
End Out-Of-Frame Seconds).
