Descriptions of supervisory commands

CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Release 9.4

Configuring DT1

RTUs

The following parameters appear in the RTU configuration screen for
DT1 test cards:

Parameter

Description

Shelf Number

Always 1.

Slot Number

Slot location within a shelf. 1–15 for CT-650; 1–7 for CT-650s.

RTU Type

Select

DT1

to configure a DT1 test card.

Card Side

RTU side to configure,

Signal Source

Signal source for the tested circuit. Possible values are as follows:

–

INT

INTERNAL

indicates the signal comes from the backplane

from another card.

–

EXT

EXTERNAL

indicates the signal comes from the DCS or a

direct connection.

–

M13

EXTERNAL (M13 MUX)

indicates the signal comes from the

DS3 Demux/Shelf Controller Card or from an M13 card configured
for the CT-650.

–

RCVD T3

is the only source that indicates the DS3 signal is not being

dropped from a higher rate. During a selftest, the

RCVD T3

signal is

an internally generated DS3 signal from the RTU.

System Name

Name of DCS associated with the RTU.

N/A

appears if the RTU is not

configured for a DCS.

DCS TP

The DCS test port number connected to the RTU. If the RTU is not con-
figured for DCS testing, the field is

N/A

DT1 Name

Name of the connection between the RTU and the DCS. This name
appears when a system name is required for the test commands. This
field is available only when the RTU is not assigned to a DCS. If the RTU
is assigned to a DCS,

N/A

appears.

Framing

Default framing mode for the idle condition when the RTU is not in use.
