Validation Problem
Software version is old, or a disabled denomination Banknote was
inserted.
[Solution] Confirm that the denomination set is the same as the Software
Information Sheet specified, and re-download the correct Software if
different.
Validation Problem
(Most Banknotes are
rejected)
Wrong DIP Switch settings.[Solution] Confirm that the denomination set
is the same as the Software Information Sheet specifies, and re-
download the correct Software if different (See “Software Download
Procedure” on page 6-2).
Inhibit validation due to conflicting Host Command settings.
[Solution] Confirm the Host Command setting and reset the command to
prohibit.
Adhering foreign object or dirt on the Sensors.[Solution] Clean the
Sensors (See “Sensor and Roller Cleaning Procedure” on page 2-5)

Banknote Length
Problem
Short Banknote length problem: While waiting for Validation Sensor
detection, the Intake Sensor detected “no-bill” present. Or, while
transporting Banknotes, the Escrow Sensor waited for Banknote
insertion detection and the Intake Sensor detected a “no-bill” present
condition.
Long Banknote length problem: Inserted a Banknote having a length
greater than 165mm.
[Solution] Check that the following parts are properly assembled and/or
Harness connected, and clean all of the Sensors
[Relative Parts] Intake Sensor
If the error is not resolved, change the above related part.

Double Banknotes
The Validation Sensor’s transitional level is less than the accepted value.
Dirt, Sticker, or Foreign Object may be on the Banknote.
[Solution] Confirm the Banknote’s condition
If the error is not resolved, perform a Sensor Calibration.

Cash Box Seating
Problem
Cash Box Sensors detect a banknote remaining in path.
[Solution] Check that the following parts are properly assembled and/or
Harness connected, and clean all of the Sensors.
