OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Intended Use
This jig saw is intended for cutting and sawing
of wood, metal, plastic and other similar
materials.
The tool must not be modified or used for
any other purposes than the ones described in
these instructions.
Inserting a Saw Blade
Prior to any assembly and adjustment always
unplug the tool.
WARNING!
Only use T-Shank type jig saw blades.
NOTE

Lift the transparent blade cover up and hold
it.
m
Pull the lever of the blade clamp and slide
the saw blade into the groove as far as it will
go with the blade teeth pointing forward.
Make sure that the lug of the blade is fitted
into the blade clamp, then release the blade
clamp lever.

Check the blade is held firmly.
m
Lower the transparent blade cover to its
initial position.
After a cut the saw blade can be very hot. Be
careful when removing the saw blade. Wear
appropriate safety gloves.

Power Switch
Before engaging the ON/OFF switch, check
that the saw blade is properly fitted.

Connect the plug to the power supply. The
power-on indicator light will remain lit until
the tool is disconnected from the power
supply

To switch on the jig saw, press the ON/ OFF
switch. The switch can be set to continuous
mode by pressing the switch lock.

When you release the ON/ OFF switch the
tool turns off.
Startup
The voltage of the power source must
match the rating label on the tool.
NOTE
m
Before switching on the jig saw the front
of the base plate must lie flat on the work
piece.
m
Always hold the jig saw firmly with both
hands. Make sure that the saw blade is not
in contact with the work piece before the jig
saw is turned on.

Allow the blade to come to a full stop
before removing it from the cut.
