Removal

Slacken the check valve to bleed out grease.

!

!

WARNING

When opening the check valve always stand to one side
and loosen a little at a time until grease starts to come
out.  If you over-loosen too much, grease could spurt out
or the valve cover fly out and cause serious injury.

Remove the bolts securing the mounting brackets to
the side frame.

Lift the side of the undercarriage high enough to permit
bottom roller removal. Support with wooden blocks.
Tap the bottom roller with a copper mallet to separate it
from the side frame.

Remove the roller.
