switch and allow the saw blade to
reach full speed.
5) Press the lower blade guard
locking lever for Cutting Head
release.
6) Push the Cutting Handle all the
way down and cut through the
leading edge of the workpiece.
7) Gently push the Cutting Handle
rearwards towards the fence
completing the cut.
8) Always push the Cutting Head to
the full rear position during each cut.
9) When the cut has been completed,
release the trigger switch and allow
the blade to come to a complete
stop.
10) Allow the Cutting Head to rise
to its upper position, with the lower
blade guard completely covering the
blade teeth, and the Cutting Head
locked in the upper position, before
releasing the Cutting Handle.
WARNING: Never pull the Cutting
Head and spinning blade towards
you when making a sliding cut. The
blade may try to climb up on top of
the workpiece, causing the Cutting
Head to ‘Kickback’ forcefully.
The Cutting Head should always be
positioned as outlined above before
attempting to make a sliding cut.
When the Cutting Head is in the
correct position above the workpiece
it can be lowered and pushed
rearwards towards the fence to
complete the cut.
