• Keep packaging materials out of the reach of
children. They pose several risks, including the
risk of suffocation!
Danger due to electricity
• Do not submerse the appliance in water or any
other liquids and do not clean it under running
water, as this could lead to an electric shock.
Protect the appliance and mains cable from
moisture. Be careful, therefore, not to place the
appliance in the vicinity of a washbasin or sink.
• Do not touch the product with wet hands and
do not use it outdoors or in locations with high
humidity.
• Do not store any food in the multicooker and
do not place the appliance into the fridge.
Condensation may form inside of the appliance
which may result in electric shock.
• Do not overfill the appliance to avoid the
contents from spilling out of the appliance
during cooking.
Only fill the pot up to the 3 CUP mark.
We recommend using 200ml water for steaming.
• Do not use milk in the appliance. The contents
could otherwise overflow and damage the ap-
pliance. This would also present a risk of an
electric shock.
• Always plug the connection plug into the
connection socket on the appliance before
plugging the mains plug into the wall socket.
• Only connect the appliance to a properly
installed, earthed wall socket with the same
mains voltage as mentioned in the “Technical
specifications”.
• Unplug the mains plug from the wall socket…
… if faults occur during use,
… after use,
… during thunderstorms and
… before cleaning the appliance.
To do so, always pull on the plug, not on the
mains cable.
• The mains cable must not be kinked or crushed.
Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces
and sharp edges. Do not place the appliance on
or near a hot hob or hotplate.
• Completely unwind the mains cable before
plugging it into a wall socket.
• To disconnect the appliance from the mains
completely, remove the mains plug from the
wall socket.
• The wall socket must be easily accessible so
that you can remove the mains plug quickly if
necessary.
• Do not use the appliance if the appliance itself
or the mains cable shows any visible signs of
damage or if the appliance has fallen down.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised while it
is in use. The appliance must not be used with a
time switch or separate remotely controlled
system.
• Do not make any modifications to the product.
To avoid potential hazards, only have repairs to
the appliance or mains cable carried out by a
specialist workshop or a similarly qualified
person. If the mains cable is defective, it must
be replaced with an identical mains cable from
the manufacturer.
• Do not use the appliance with a different pot or
steamer to the one supplied.
• Only cook in the appliance with the pot inserted.
• If it is necessary to use an extension cord,
make sure that it complies with the “Technical
specifications” of the appliance. Seek advice in
a specialist shop when buying an extension
cord.
• Caution! Improper use of the appliance can lead
to injuries.
