4 VALVE MANIFOLD
• Forged aluminium body – durable and lightweight
• ¼ turn control valves for fast operation and increased refrigerant flow (EL84372 & EL86372)
• Piston style valves to ensure perfect sealing (EL64372, EL66300, EL66372, EL74300,EL74400)
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions and become familiar with the specifications and operation of this JAVAC
manifold prior to use. The instructions will give you important information in regards to the operation
of the manifold.
PURPOSE AND USE:
These manifolds have been designed especially to measure pressure in refrigerant equipment.
The manifold may only be used by TRAINED TECHNICIANS.
THE MANIFOLD MUST NOT BE USED:
• for other than refrigeration applications in connection with refrigerants. The manifold is not suitable for other
liquid of gases the those indicated on the gauge.
• with pressure higher than the pressure scale indicated on the high pressure gauge with manifold.
• as a pressure regulator.
• with Ammonia (NH-3).
• for pressure testing with Oxygen Free Nitrogen (OFN).
SAFETY GOGGLES AND GLOVES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING THE USE OF THE MANIFOLD.
WARRANTY AND REPAIR POLICY
This equipment is free of manufacturing and material defects to the original owner for one year from the date
of purchase. It will be repaired or replaced (at our discretion) at no charge if a failure occurs during the
guarantee period. The warranty does not apply to this equipment if it is deemed to have been altered or
misused. All repaired equipment will carry an independent 90 days warranty.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
CONNECTING MANIFOLD TO A SYSTEM
• Close valves A, B,C & D
• Connect hose 1, 2, 3 & 4 as shown
• Run the system and observe the pressures, check system manual for correct diagnosis
Refrigerant recovery
• Open valves A, B & C
• Close valve D
• Connect hose 1 and 2 as shown
• Connect hose 3 to inlet of recovery unit
• Connect recovery unit to recovery cylinder with an additional hose
• Turn on recovery unit and observe gauges until recovery is complete
EVACUATION OF SYSTEM
• Open valves A, B,C & D
• Connect hose 1, 2, 3 & 4 as shown
• Ensure refrigerant cylinder valve is closed
• Turn on vacuum pump for the desired time. Check vacuum level on the gauges, a minimum evacuation
time of 20 minutes is recommended, this may vary depending on the size of the system.
• When vacuum is reached close valves A, B,C & D
CHARGING SYSTEM AFTER EVACUATION
• Close valves A,B,C & D
• Connect hose 1, 2, 3 & 4 as shown
• Open refrigerant cylinder valve
• Open valve a for charging vapour or valve B for charging liquid
