• The coffee will begin to flow in a short time.
• While the coffee is being made you may remove the jug (3), as the automatic anti-drip
system stops it from dripping. Take care not to remove it for too long as the coffee in
the filter holder may overflow.
• If you wish to keep the coffee hot, leave the jug (3) on the hot plate (2) and keep the
coffee maker on.
• To unplug the coffee maker push
“0/I” twice
.
PROGRAMMING THE COFFEE MAKER
The coffee maker can be programmed to be connected automatically so it can do coffee
to a determinate hour.
Having water in the tank and coffee in the filter, follow the next steps to program it:
• Plug it to the mains and adjust the hour and the minutes in the clock, as indicated in
the point
TO SET THE CLOCK IN TIME.
• Then, press
“PROGRAMA” one or two times until it will appear “12:00
”
and
“TIMER”
.
• Immediately press
“HORAS”
and them
“MINUTOS”
to adjust the hour and the minutes
in which you want that the coffee maker get connected.
• Once this operation is done, push
“0/I” twice
. The indicator
“AUTOMATICO”
will
light on.
• When it is the programmed hour, the coffee maker will connect automatically. The
display and the
“MANUAL”
indicator light will light on.
• Once all the coffee has started to go out, the coffee maker will disconnect automatically
within two hours approximately. If you want to disconnect it while this period, push
“0/I” twice
.
• Once disconnected, due to the two hours has passed or you have disconnected by
yourself, if you want that the coffee maker start working the next day, at the same
hour, just push
“0/I” twice
and maintain it plugged to the mains. The
“AUTOMATICO”
indicator will be on.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before anything, make sure the coffee maker is unplugged from the mains.
• The jug, the tank, the filter and the filter holder may be cleaned with a hot soapy water
taking care to rinse them carefully afterwards.
ATTENTION:
To take out the filter holder (8) place its handle in vertical position and
remove it. To replace it, place it with its handle in vertical position and turn the handle
forward to leave it fixed by the two sides.
• The hot plate and the body of the coffee maker should be cleaned with a soft cloth
dampened in water.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate
the surfaces of the appliance.
• To eliminate the alkaline deposits that with use may be formed in the water circuit, it
is convenient to treat it as follows:
-Pour a 50% solution of water and vinegar in the tank and wait 15 minutes.
-Plug the coffee maker without any coffee and allow all the solution to flow out.
-Next, make the coffee maker work only with water for a couple of times.
