1.1.2.4 Personality Board
System depended IO interfaces are implemented by the personality board (refer to the block diagram).
Either existing personality boards can be customized or a custom personality board can be build.
The personality board is connected to the system by the following interfaces:
•
FPGA (up to 30 IO signals)
•
2 x PCIe x1 (not available on ATOM)
•
HDA (high definition audio)

The emPC-CX+ is open for all COM express modules with the following constraints:
•
Type 6 (Compact or Basic)
•
DDI1 must support T.M.D.S (HDMI,DVI)
•
Sufficient PCIe lanes available
