MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT

STRETCH STITCH BALANCE

TO CHECK:

1.

SET THE STITCH SELECTOR AT "    ", THE STITCH LENGTH CONTROL AT STRETCH STITCH, AND

THE STRETCH STITCH ADJUSTER AT "       ".

2.

PLACE A PIECE OF PAPER ON THE NEEDLE PLATE AND LOWER THE PRESSER FOOT.

3

TURN THE HANDWHEEL TO MARK NEEDLE POINTS ON THE PAPER.

4.

THE NEEDLE SHOULD PENETRATE THE SAME HOLE IN A FORWARD AND REVERSE DIRECTION

WHILE TURNING THE HANDWHEEL TOWARDS YOU.
