correctly.

Replace the PIB.

Replace PIB.

Confirm unit is set
to 100%
production, the
“Flow” light is lit
and the salinity is
within its proper
range. Replace
the PIB.

Remove Cell and
visually check calcium
build up and or debris. Is
the cell clean?

Clean the cell with 4 parts water and 1
part muriatic acid. Rinse with fresh
water when done.

No Code = System
Operating Normally
Different Code = Proceed to
that code.

Yes

Replace the PIB.

Reinstall and restart the unit. Wait for
system diagnostics.

(Approximately 5 minutes).

Does the system show the same
service code?

Conduct transformer voltage test and PIB DC
voltage tests. Are the voltages correct?

Yes

Visually check the DC cell cord
and outside of cell. Are they
connected loosely together or are
there signs of damage?

- Loose connection =
Reconnect firmly.
- Damaged cell or cord =
Replace cell and cord.
Next, Restart the unit and
wait for system diagnostics.

(Approximately 5 minutes).

Conduct the transformer
voltage tests. Are the
voltages correct?

Visually inspect sensor cable and
check for proper plumbing
installation. Are these good?

Damaged Cable = Replace sensor.
Incorrect Installation = Plumb correctly.

Remove and
clean sensor.

Yes

No Code = System
Operating Normally
Different Code = Proceed to
that code.

Yes

Conduct a sensor
reading test. Does it
pass the test?

Replace the flow sensor.

Replace the PIB.
