LIMITED WARRANTY FOR
AIR ENERGY™ HEAT PUMPS
MODELS AE200Ti, AE300Ti, AE400Ti, and AE500Ti
The warranty is applicable only if the unit’s installation and operation is expressly and completely followed in
accordance with the manufacturer’s owner/installation manual furnished with each unit. The liability of Air Energy™
Heat Pumps, Inc. shall not exceed the repair or replacement of defective parts and shall not include consumables
including refrigerant or transportation to or from the factory. Air Energy™ Heat Pump Inc. is not liable for any
damages of any sort whatsoever, including incidental and consequential damages.
THE TITANIUM HEAT EXCHANGER IS WARRANTED AGAINST MATERIAL DEFECTS FOR FIFTEEN (15) YEARS
FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, ALL OTHER COMPONENTS ARE GUARANTEED AGAINST MATERIAL
DEFECTS FOR TWO (2) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
1.
if the product is not properly installed with a residential pool or spa by a quali
fi
ed licensed installer in accordance
with applicable local codes and ordinances, good trade practices, and the manufacturer’s installation
instructions;
2.
damage, malfunctions or failures resulting from negligence and/or abuse;
3.
if the product is modi
fi
ed in any way, or non-factory authorized accessories or other components are used in
conjunction with the product;
4.
damage, malfunctions or failures from act of nature, accident,
fi
re,
fl
ood, freeze, lightning or the like;
5. performance problems caused by improper sizing of the heat pump or electric service voltage, wiring or
fusing;
6.
damage resulting from electrolysis due to improper earth bonding;
7.
damage, malfunctions or failures from incorrect water
fl
ow;
8.
if the rating plate(s) or serial number(s) are altered or removed
EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY-LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY GIVEN BY AIR ENERGY™ HEAT PUMPS. NO ONE IS
AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY OTHER WARRANTIES ON BEHALF OF AIR ENERGY™ HEAT PUMPS. IT IS
AGREED THAT AIR ENERGY™ HEAT PUMPS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY IF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ARE NOT FULFILLED.
