Main Functions
Sensor Shutter Mode
The rolling-shutter camera has two sensor shutter modes (Rolling and Global Reset).
When using a rolling-shutter camera, the exposure and line readout are executed pixel row by pixel
row, and the exposure timing can be specified by SensorShutterMode. When
Rolling
is selected,
each pixel row is exposed at a different timing; when
Global Reset
is selected, each pixel row is
exposed at the same time.
Rolling
Use
Rolling
for applications with static objects.
When Rolling is selected, each pixel row is exposed for the same length of time, however, the start
and endpoint are delayed compared to the previous row.
Caution
If a rolling-shutter camera is used in applications with moving objects, the images
will appear stretched, skewed, or otherwise distorted.
